I also take alot of other meds. Meds for : depression, Rheumatoid arthritis,fibromyalgia, several different pain meds,Thyroid,sleep apnea,anxiety,and high blood pressure. Probably several more. I'm always afraid at starting new medicine, especially with all the ones I already take. I'm supposed to start w/one and work up to 2. Any ideas?

Since you are taking a lot of other meds, it is recommended to seek medical advice from the doc./pharmacist who prescribed Metformin, best of luck, I am also on to type 2 diabetes meds.
