" The mean half-life of cefuroxime in serum was independent of dose and ranged from 1.4 to 1.9 h. "
"Cefuroxime is not metabolised. The serum half-life is between 1 and 1.5 hours.
"After you stop taking cefuroxime, the drug should be fully gone from your body within a day."
