Started on 50mg week 4 went on 100mg started to have more better days then week 6 something clicked and I felt great felt, head more clear hardly any anxiety, hand tremors still there but ok and my appetite was coming back as well but since week 7 I feel like I’m slipping again head starting to race slightly again ,becoming quite anxious again started to lose my appetite again . It’s also effecting my sleeping again can hardly sleep as panicking again at night , I feel nausea a lot now .
I have just been away for the weekend to my sons and had a great weekend so wondering if it’s a delayed reaction to that or whether I’m starting to go backwards again I so hope not as I felt I was doing so well .
Has anybody else experienced this at all ?
Week 6 started to feel me again week 7 felt like I had dipped again anybody else experienced this ?

I guess you are talking about Sertraline, but I can not give you a straight answer based on guessing as you do not mention the medication you are referring to.
Sorry yes sertraline
Hi again,
Yes, as with all medications when starting treatment, adjusting to new doses your organism adapting to this new chemical in your body which is affecting your CNS it is very common to move forward in your treatment at the start and in some cases, patients (us), have negative phases and it gets worse before it gets better, been there with different meds I take.
Remember that in this case, this SSRIs takes 6 to 8 weeks to fully reach its therapeutic level, so be strong and also very important, communication with your Psychiatrist, do inform him/her of everything you are experiencing, so the bottom line is be patient and never lose your faith.
I suggest you try, if you can, to maintain yourself occupied, exercise, use your mind (reading), etc..
