I was told to take it between 6-8 pm but take mine at 10pm
I take mine in the morning. It's okay as long as you take it around the same time every day.
Can I take warfarin in the morning as opposed to taking it at night?
At night
I have a very comfortable easy-chair, and sometimes fall asleep reading. When I first started Warfarin in '08, I missed my evening dose a couple times.
I asked my VetAdmin doc if I could take it in the morning. I was told it didn't matter, as long as I took it at about the same time daily.
The main reason your doctor will want to know what time of day you take it, according to my doc, is in case of overdose.
We always gave it around 4 pm, supposedly then if we did an inr in the am, it was the best timing.
