Loosing weight and eating vit k foods causes your INR to go up and the doctor was right to cut your dose. Listen to your doctor.
Wrong. Too much Vit. K foods causes INR to DECREASE.
Does this mean if your Coumadin level goes up too high
the physician should give you a lower or higher dose of
Coumadin?
Yes, you have been given the correct advice.
Your INR is too high and needs to be lowered. Reducing your dose of warfarin should reduce your INR.
