I have been on Vraylar 1.5 mls once a day for just about 3 months. I have not seen any improvement or any under improvement. I have seen all these reviews with people having positive results. What am I doing wrong! Should I increase my dosage? I’ve been diagnosed with severe depression and bouts of severe anger.

Tell your Dr. The dose can be increased. You aren’t doing anything wrong; That is depression talking. It is frustrating to find the best dosage or right combination of meds but don’t give up. Many of us have struggled for years to find the right meds or combinations of meds to ease our symptoms. Keep trying. Good luck
Hi, Lucky!
You're on the lowest dose in a range from 1.5-6mgs. You should consult with your doctor and let them know where you're at with the medication. A dosage adjustment is certainly a possibility.
Another success story! I've been taking Vraylar for some time now but I needed an increase to 6mg/day because I'm highly resistant to medications. I love what it's done for me and as a bonus I've had no short- or long -term side effects.
I'd call it a wonder drug for most people.
Hello, I was on Vraylar also. I was on it twice, so on it for a while stopped it and then went back on it again after quite some time. The first time I was on it I did not realize just how many of my issues were actually being caused by the Vraylar until I went off it and felt myself without it and went back on it. A LOT of my anger was actually from the Vraylar, and the withdrawal from the Vraylar. What also is disappointing is that the Vraylar takes SO LONG to leave the system, so I just went off of it again. I was only on it for about 2 months, and I have been off of it 11 days and am still experiencing some of the side effects from the Vraylar and likely will for the next couple months. I hate this drug, I know everyone is different but it certainly didn't help me. It made my depression worse and for me it made me feel completely spiritually drained or dead. Each day being off of it I feel the tiniest bit better but cant wait to feel "normal" again.
I wish someone would have explained to me that the Vraylar has such a long half life. I will never put another antipsychotic into my body again. If you are feeling depressed and angry my advice would be to actually abandon this drug. Good luck to you and God bless.
Do not increase your dose on your own. Talk to your Dr. and let him/her adjust your dose.
Remember, everyone reacts differently to medications, talk to your Dr..
Thank you
