Is Vicks Vaposteam safe for babies? My pharmacist said it is, but I've seen elsewhere that it shouldn't be used for babies under 2 years old.

All depends on who you ask.Old school says yes as long as chest is covered and dont take them out into the air.New Drs says so because they cant make a proffit off of it. I am 45 and was raised on it.Most of the no no Drs were raised on it to. If you put it on a child under 2 cover them well to keep hands out.Also wash chest before out in air

Thank you for your response, that's helpful to know for Vicks vapor rub. Do you know whether Vicks vaposteam (that goes in a humidifier) is safe?
