Every prescription med comes with an expiration date, if it's past that then it's best not to put it in your body.
Usually any medication over 12 months old is considered expired in both prescription and in age. If the date on the pill bottle is more than 18 months past the fill date than the meds you have are more than likely expired. The risks of taking a medication that are out of date increase. Chemical formulations change in medications over time; some breakdown so that they are no longer effective in any way and some break down into toxic chemicals. I am not a chemist or a pharmacist, and if you are neither I would say toss it! Priapism sounds like a rough time, don't want to add to that risk!
