I lost a lot of weight on Topamax, but have recently stopped losing weight. Has anyone else dealt with this? How did you start losing weight again? I am exercising, which I didn't do before, but I do miss the easy weight loss that my medication gave me. Everyone else's comments I read just keeps talking about the constant weight loss. I lost 25 lbs in about 6 months and to no longer be losing is bumming me out.
Topiramate - How to still lose weight after being on Topamax for two years?

Same happened to me and my neurologist who knew how much my weight meant to me recommended that I stopped taking my Topamax for about 10-14 days, then go back on it again, taking it the same way as usual and it will start to work the same way as usual, and it did.
Good luck, I'm sure that this will work for you too
I’m still on it but have stopped loosing weight as well. I continue to exercise and watch my diet. The flip side is I’m grateful I’m not gaining weight.
Are you at the max dosage? Can you increase per your doctor?
I have an appt next week and may ask, but I wonder if it will do anything or if it’s necessary as my migraines are doing ok. I am gaining but that’s bc of something else. I’m working on that.
