Topamax (topiramate) is not an anticholinergic drug, it belongs to the drug class of carbonic anhydrase inhibitor anticonvulsants.
Topiramate enhances the effects of the inhibitory γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-mediated neurotransmission through an inter-action with the GABAA receptors, resulting in increased brain GABA level.
