Ask your pharmacy or call your doctor. What did you see him/her for? Might help us guess whats it's for? Just a thought...
gr sometimes stands for grains which is a measurement. Aspirin used to be measured in grains. 10gr of Aspirin was about equal to a 325mg tablet. I'm not sure what ss means though unless it is a measurement of the amount of grains?? po means "by mouth" q4h means "every 4 hours" and prn means "as needed" Is there anything else like a drug name perhaps? That might help more if I knew what drug you are talking about. Are you sure is says ss and not Sig:? They usually put Sig: prior to directions on how to take.
I don't even know what POQ means. So, I'm really lost.
Ya got me on that one. :-) Never seen that on a script before. If I were you, I would call the pharmacist where you filled the script and ask them. Please let us know on the forum what you find out. Youv'e got my curiosity up now. Blessings, rollerskater.
