Hello,
I've been taking Zofran for the last three months, and it has worked wonders for me. Today I had a GI visit, and he re-prescriped me Zofran, but I was given the ones that dissolve in your mouth versus the regular pill. The taste, and after taste is TERRIBLE. Does anyone know of a way that I can make this any easier? Thank you
Terrible taste of Zofran?

How to take zofran and mask the taste
I would request the doc not to prescribe the Zofran which dissolves in the mouth, the bad taste could be due to some kind of chemicals which were made so that it converts into mouth dissolving pills or the bets bet would be to ask the GI who changed your prescription for a solution to mask the taste & after taste.
Take care, best wishes!
Thank you for your advice! Odd question, do you think it would be okay to dissolve it into water and just drink that?
Most welcome, I would think so, but best again would be to consult the doc as usually medicine count is lost a wee bit when dissolved in water which is not supposed to be done.
Take care, best wishes!
I use Zofran in both forms. I found that after I struggle through letting the pill melt on my tongue I drink something with lots of flavor but just a shot of it, like milk of sugar free cranberry juice. I use it like a mouthwash. Sometimes I spit and sometimes I don't. it depends on how nauseous I am.
