Make sure you get a top notch doc who can make you quality dentures that fit. Ive had mine for 5 years and dont even need adhesive for them to stay put. Temporaries are just until your gums are fully healed, which i know seems to take forever. I also have lower dentures held in place with implants.

Yes and it's not unusual. Your mouth is trying to get accustomed to having 2 new structures in it. It will take a few days for you to become used to them. You'll naturally become used to talking, eating and swallowing with them. Just have a little patience and you'll get there!
