I am currently tapering off Cymbalta and have now reduced my dose to 15 mg. Tapering down to 30 mg went smoothly with minimal issues, but at 15 mg, I am experiencing nausea, weakness, and random bouts of dizziness throughout the day. I've read mixed advice about taking Ashwagandha with Cymbalta, but I wonder if Ashwagandha might help at this lower dose (15 mg) by maintaining my serotonin levels. I believe the interactions between Cymbalta and Ashwagandha might be more significant at higher doses and not at 15 mg dose. Should I consider using Ashwagandha to support my Cymbalta tapering process, or is it too risky?
Tapering Cymbalta (dulexitine) and taking Ashwangadha?

Dear Pragnishka, I'm certainly not a doctor, but I would strongly suggest that you have a consult with your doctor! You appear to have a good grasp of the factor's involved: Dosing, tapering, expected results, neurotransmitters, potential side-effects, etc.! However, you don't want to undo all your progress, when you have access to a Doctor's expertise, and check with your Pharmacist also - they are the true expert advice! P.S., And they [pharmacists] love to see people getting onto a more natural health care style - not dumping copious combinations of pills - with who knows the synergistic effect?
Good luck, I'll be following your progress!
