My Dr. has prescribed both of the above drugs. Are they not both for the same purpose? I take both at nightime for frequent urination.
Why would I be prescribed both Tamsulosin and Terazosin?

Tamsulosin hydrochloride (Flomax) is a prescription medicine that has been licensed as treatment for an enlarged prostate. An enlarged prostate is also known medically as benign prostatic hyperplasia, benign prostatic hypertrophy, or BPH.
Terazosin Hydrochloride tablets are also indicated for the treatment of hypertension. Terazosin Hydrochloride tablets can be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents such as diuretics or beta-adrenergic blocking agents.
Hope this helps, be well & safe!
