I seem to have pain lifting my arms, especially right. It feels very sore, but not as much pain as when on Crestor. Seems then to have worse muscle aches. I guess I can deal with this as opposed to other statins taken. Also experience weakness in legs but this may be due to age and not enough exercise. I am afraid Covid has kept me inside more than I would have liked. I do get labs done about every 6 months.
Taking pravastatin for about a year. 40 mg until May 2021. Now on 80 mg.

I took pravastatin to find out it wasn't working well and my fibromyalgia wasn't getting better. I changed medical systems and found out I had measurable muscle damage from it. My new Dr switched to Zetia. I had a normal lipid panel for the first time after one year! No worries about making fibromyalgia worse. You could check with your Dr and see if Zetia helps
Thank you! Will certainly check with my doctor... what mg do you take with the Zetia?
I take 10mg at bedtime and my Dr prescribes enough refills for 6-8 months. A generic is available. Hope you feel better soon
