I had knee replacement surgery a little over six weeks ago and I was prescribed cyclobenzaprine to be taken once every eight hours. I am 65 years old and had a c-section at age 25 and no other children. I’m over weight at 320lbs and I’m 5’ 5” tall. Since my surgery I started having urinary-incontinence issues. I’ve never had this issue in the past and I’ve stopped taking this drug at least six days ago. I was experiencing some pain in my surgery leg during my recovery that I’d compare to the feeling of restless legs syndrome, which I’ve not dealt with in my life, and that’s when the doctor said to start taking the cyclobenzaprine he prescribed. I was sent home from the hospital with this prescription and oxycodone to use during my recovery period. Is this issue something that will go away in time or do I need to invest in adult diapers? Yuck!
Thanks for any answers you may have about this situation! Kindest regards, Riegerbs
