Is severe back and leg pain a side effect of my ulcerative colitis or my meds Asacol and Remicade?

Prednisone is to be taken 2 tablets 4 times a day with food?
Does it matter if I take it: 9 am / 1pm / 5pm / 9pm ?? Does it have to be spaced further apart? Its being given to reduce inflammation in colon due to microscopic collitis.

Imuran - does it cause lack of taste?
When I eat I can't taste anything, sweet, salty etc? Is this normal? Sometimes it's hard to swallow because the lack of saliva in my mouth.
