Lipitor 40 MG or ATORVASTATIN 80 MG?

I take Lipitor 40 mg and even with my insurance it cost to much to afford. My insurance recommends ATORVASTATIN 80 MG which would cost me very little. My doctor helps out with samples but doesn't always have them. My question is would the atorvastatin 80 mg be as good as lipitor 40 mg?

Have taken cholesterol meds and had a bad reaction. What is an alternative?

I took simvastatin, pravastatin, and atorvastatin and I developed blisters in the palms of my hands that hurt severely. I don't want that feeling anymore what are some options to lower my cholesterol without taking this medicine

pat also takes lamotrigene, aspirin, vit D, calcium carbonate. Lipitor, lorazapem prn/depression and pain meds phenytoin and or Dilantin levels are sometimes high, normal and low but most often low. blood sugars are slightly elevated about 50% of the time pt also has syncope, orthostatic hypotension

I have had a serious muscle melt down after taking crestor and previous to that I was taking lipitor, also I was on eutroxsig for six weeks,I have taking any of these now for 12 days, how soon can I expect to recover ?
