How do I stop taking Metoprolol?
I never had low blood pressure but was prescribed this medication for PVC’s a few years back. It’s causing my BP some days to drop so low that I feel shaky and lightheaded. My BP was 78/48 yesterday when I had those symptoms. I’m not sure if I should be weaned off or can I just stop taking it.

Why was my 25mg of metoprol split in half, with one half at morning and one half at night?
My doc put me on metoprol and told me to take a half at mornings and a half at night. I was having PVC's, he did a halter monitor. I have COPD and it seems to make my breathing more labored.
