I am allergic to sulfa and I was given Humira for arthritis. I got sores all over my mouth and throat and also on both legs just above the ankles. I needed to stop Humera. Blood tests concurred that Immunoglobulin E was extremely elevated - immunologist told me to stop the drug and I did. However, side effects continue to occur several months after the drug was discontinued.

I'm currently taking remicade but my crohns still isn't in remission after a full round of dosage. We started with pills and steroids but nothings worked long term. Is humira supposed to be stronger than remicade? I have a very severe case and could use some advice.
