Gout - Has any one tried drinking baking soda & molasses for gout?

You take one cup of water 1 or 2 tsp baking soda & 1 tsp of molasses.

Does Indomethacin actually treat the goutty crystallyine deposits in your joints?

Yes I do use Indomethacin for my gout but my side effect is when I urinate it's a really long and difficult process. Seriously you'd think I was in the bathroom doing #2 how long it would take me. Even after I'm done I'd have to urinate a couple of more times shortly thereafter.... read more

Naproxen Cold Turkey ??

Was told to quit taking Naproxen, at least 6 to 10 days before surgery. What happens when you quit all of a sudden? Surgery was suppose to the 3rd, but because of the med's, now we are on for the 30th, or to fill a time slot if someone cancels.

Can I take both Allopurinol 300mg & Indomethacin 25mg at the same time during an acute gout attack?

Or should I suspend taking the Allopurinol(my daily maintenancew drug) when I have an acute attack and begin taking Indomethacin?

Will prednisone help with a gout flare up?

If Norco are waring off before the 12hrs can I take 600mg ibuprofen or a 500 mg Tylenol or an Aleve?

Will acid-reducers help me with my uric acid level? I have gout right now and nothing the doctor...

... prescribes is helping. Not even the pain pills. My knee is swollen and the pain in my foot is no joke. Does anyone know something I can take or do for this gout? Need help. Knee is swollen and foot doctor prescribed me indomethcin 25mg which is not helping the pain at all.

Valsartan and gout?

I was taking tekturna, monopril and hydrochlorthyozide with no side effects - my doctor switched me to valturna hct and I immediately got a very severe gout attack my research indicates the valsartan in the valturna may be the cause - am I right?

Tea and pain-killers?

Does tea really boost the strengths of paracetamol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and diclofenac-sodium ?
