I completed 22 months of Forteo ending in 2006. I just had spinal fusion surgery and am wearing an electro magnetic bone growth stimulator brace (2 hours per day). Can Forteo be used again in this situation? Would Forteo stimulate bone growth or can it be used only once per lifetime?

Forteo medication for osteoporosis requires that it be constantly chilled. For travel it come with kit which includes two small frozen packets. I am wondering if ice would suffice in place of refrigeration and the frozen packets.

I read that Forteo can cause bone cancer. I wonder if it can also affect bone marrow?

My mother was on Forteo just a few years ago. She died suddenly within 3 weeks from acute leukemia. She had no health issues what so ever. I cant help but wonder if this drug caused her cancer.
