I had esophagus cancer surgery 4 years ago. I was prescribed Nexium 40mg twice per day. Last month my ins company switched me to Esomeprazole Mag DR 40 mg once per day. I understood there was no generic for Nexium.

Been treated since last May without much improvement. On protonix 40 mg 2x a day at first now just once a day. Besides constant knowing pain in upper stomach I have gas and bloating. Also alternate diarrhea and constipation. What to do. I’ve tried everything.
