Urinary Tract Infection - Will amoxicillin 875 mg tablet cure a UTI? How long until relief?

Phenazopyridine is gross and makes me feel bad, but out of pain. I've taken 3 doses of the amoxicillin 875 pink pill x 2 a day or every 12 hrs.

Metoprolol Tartrate - I ran out of my metoprolol an today will be my 4th dose missed should I go to?

After three weeks of taking this medication I am giving up. I'm sick all day with nausea and vomiting and diarrhea when I least expect it. What can I expect? Do I slowly reduce the dose or just quit taking it?

I took Topamax for well over a year and I lost a lot of weight. Unfortunately, when the dose was increased, I started to gain weight. Does anyone know if you can lose weight with Topamax a second time?

I was wondering how much penicillin VK should be taken daily and for how many days to cure a UTI?

Basically what would the regimen be for clearing up a UTI using the antibiotic penicillin VK... what strength and dosage and for how many days should it be taken to make sure the bacterial infection is fully cleared up ... thank you so much for your time :)
