After getting all teeth pulled and getting dentures. How is it adjusting to the temporary dentures?

At the age of 48 and having bad teeth most of my life, I'm finally realizing I have no other choice but have them all removed and get dentures. How long will I be in pain after having 27 teeth removed at one time?

I'm on day 4 and still in a lot of pain off and on its seems to get worse when I sleep or after I eat. I did get immediate dentures but they won't fit so I figured I would wait a couple of weeks before getting them reclined. I have 13 stiches in the process as well

I took lithium carbonate 1200mg/day for 15-20 years. Now I have to have all my teeth pulled for?
