Can I substitute propranolol for Prozac?

No, not really, but in a way it could be helpful. Prozac address the causes of anxiety where propranolol may help control some of the symptoms (racing heart, respiratory distress, etc.)
Propranolol may sometimes be prescribed along with antidepressant/anxiolytics like Prozac.
