My husband has a very difficult time swallowing. He has high blood pressure but can no longer swallow his pill. I'm worried because lately his symptoms seem worse. He also stays angry, which is how he was years ago when first diagnosed with HBP. Does anyone know of a sublingual or liquid blood pressure medication? Thanks!
Is there a sublingual blood pressure med or a liquid form?

I am on .01 mg of Clonidine 3 times a day. The form I take is sublingual even though it doesn't state it is. Was taking it with water, but second day I took it, put it in my mouth and before getting my glass of water to drink, it melted in my mouth in 10 seconds.. I take the generic form of Clonidine from Unichem Pharmaceuticals (USA), Inc. Have not taking it with any liquid and melts in 10 seconds kicking in less than 15 minutes and peaking at 2 to 3 hours..
