I have Provera 5mg. I have super bad periods that knock me down for 2 days straight, no matter what. (This occurs on day 3 and 4 of my period.) I'm due to start my period on anywhere from the 14th-16th of this month. I absolutely cannot take off 2 days of so I got Provera. Not sure what day to take it on, and how many to take per day?
Need to stop Period from starting with Provera for only a week?

To delay a period Provera should be taken for 10 to 14 days starting 3 days before period due. The usual dose is 5 to 10mg daily. You should get your period a few days after finishing the Provera.
You should check with your doctor what dose is right for you.
Thanks. I started 4 days ago, but I really have no idea what day my period was actually due. As long as it doesn't hit in the next day or two, I think I will be fine. I was recommended to take 3 pills a day, which is what I've been doing and I only have enough for one week. I hope it works. PS. I don't have a doctor, which is why I'm on here asking. :)
