Answers
Magnesium citrate is used as a laxative to treat constipation. It works by increasing the amount of water in the intestines. The effects are usually expected within 30 minutes to 6 hours after dosing.
Were you instructed to drink both bottles at once, that seems excessive? The usual dose for adult constipation is half to 1 bottle? It's important to drink water so that you do not become dehydrated.
Talk with your doctor if you have taken too much.
