Now having side effects: nausea. anxiety, diarrhea etc Is this due to dosage increase Wasn’t as bad when I took 25 Is it worth just taking the 37.5 as it may not help anxiety at that low dose
Just started 50 mg sertraline after 6 weeks up from 25mg.

I don't know what happened to the answer I wrote... it has disappeared.
I'll make this one short and concise, okay?
1) Side effects may start again or after dosage increases. Your body needs to adjust to the larger
amount of the drug but it's temporary and usually only lasts a week or so.
2) If you're still having them you can ask your pharmacist about OTCs that are compatible with the
sertraline.
3) Ask your doctor about a dose adjustment back to a lower dose. You may just need time to adjust
more smoothly.
4) Everybody will respond differently to this type of medication. The dosage isn't prescribed by
weight or age but by your individual response. Some people need a higher dose, others can do
well on lower doses. You'll have to try it and see what works best for you.
My battery is just about dead so I have to stop here. Please feel to post again with any concerns you
may still have.
