Partner expected results after trial dose. Nothing happened and he is extremely embarrassed and unhappy. Need confirmation that several times may be needed and to keep trying!

What dosage did he take? Dosages can range from 25 - 100mg/day. If he's on a low dose his doctor may be able to prescribe a higher strength.
In some cases it can take up to 4 hours to become fully effective... even longer if taken after a high fat meal.
Be patient and work with his doctor. You'll achieve the results you're hoping for.

It usually works for me right away. I’m prescribed 100mg and take 1/4 tablet. For best results make sure he takes it on an empty stomach and without any alcohol. The only time it didn’t work well for me was when I took it after a meal. Apparently it’s slower to work with food in the stomach, and I can confirm. I hope this helps. Good luck!
