I have a friend who had a medical abortion. She was supposed to insert the 4 misoprostol, cytotec pills inside her vagina but she accidentaly push one of the pill into her urethra. She tried to take it out but the pill sticks inside her urethra. What could be the side effects of the pill if not taking out and let it dissolve inside her urethra? Hope to hear from you soon?

Next time if your friend or anyone plans to take medical abortion, just take them orally and don't insert pills in your vagina. That's old procedure. There is a kit where you can take orally and works perfectly well, you just have to follow the instruction carefully.

should not be a problem with the one that dissolved but what concerns me is she did not have the full 4 pills to put in vagina maybe she should call the doctor and let him or her know what happened to make sure it was or still is going to work or she may have to go through this again
