Sertraline can increase sweating, and from the results of one study it appears to indicate that treatment with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (i.e., paroxetine, sertraline, citalopram) may cause an increase in serum total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and/or LDL cholesterol. However, additional studies are necessary to confirm these findings.
I have been taking sertraline for maybe 10 years and I have a sweating problem and stubborn bad numbers for my cholesterol. Thank you for the information, I am going to research this further.
