Just how quickly can this drug Seroquel/quetiapine make you dependent and is it actually addictive? I have been prescribed12.5mg at night to help withdrawal from a 4month dependency of a 17mg split daily doses of diazepam

Seroquel is not addictive in the sense that the benzodiazepines are. It's not habit forming if used according to the prescription directions.
It's possible that a missed dose might cause discontinuation symptoms so avoid missing doses and don't stop the medication without your doctor's advice.
I've taken 200mg of quetiapine for Bipolar/Anxiety disorders/sleep disorder for years with no problem when stopped periodically for an unrelated medical condition.

Awesome…there have been varying stories. Thank you..I only took a 12.5mg dose at night to help me get off the diazepam I’ve been using starting a new SSRI. Only too for 2 nights because It made me super nauseas
