Are side effects that bad?
I’m scared to take sertraline for anxiety and panic because of side effects.

Hi, Cromwell!
Despite what you might read or hear the majority of users have few or no side effects. Those that do find that they are generally mild and transient resolving within just days to a week or so and not many people stop their treatment because of side effects.
In addition, if you do experience side effects they can usually be remedied with OTC products recommended by your pharmacist/chemist.
Not to say that you won't have some but it's just not that common. When I started my sertraline I had a mild headache for the first 2-3 days and the discomfort was worth the benefits I get from the medication.
I think you should give it a try!
Best regards,
Wildcat
PS, I'd rather have a few side effects than trying to live with anxiety/panic attacks which is no fun at all as you know.
Thank you so much for taking time to answer my question. Yes I’m definitely going to start taking them as I don’t feel I have a choice my anxiety and panic attacks are at their worst ATM.
You're welcome and good luck!
