So currently I'm on 100mg of sertraline and have been for nearly 2 years, recently I've had some breakthrough symptoms, my doctor has suggested upping my dosage to 150mg however, I'm terrified as I had very bad side effects when I 1st started taking sertraline, my doctor also said I shouldn't have a bad reaction as I've been on it for a long time. Any suggestions or advice would be great.
Scared of dosage increase?

Hi, Kasm!
Recurring side effects are common when the dosage is increased but they're generally much milder if they do happen.
If you find you're not tolerating the 150mg well let your doctor know because you'd be able to go to 125mg temporarily so your system could adjust more easily.
