I am in a great deal of pain all of the time from arthritis and nerve pain. I have been using Tramadol 50mg several times a day,for the pain but, it didn't help very much, so I was given a perscription for Carisoprodol 350mg, once a day,for muscle spasms I was experiencing. Are they safe taken togeather?
Is it safe to take both Tramadol and Carisoprodol togeather?

Hi, the main interaction symptom possibilities are drowsiness, dizziness & trouble concentrating. The interaction checker states the interaction risk between these medications as 'moderate'. It is good to take advice from people who have experienced this, like Kaismama above. Check out the link also... https://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=527-0,2221-0
If you have any concerns please speak with your doctor
I used to take both of them. I only took the carisoprodol at bedtime. It made me sleepy otherwise. I would say be careful until you know how it effects you.
