Is it safe to eat grapefruit while taking Venlafaxine XR?

Snukun; Just as WcV; has said but you might keep it a few hours away from the time you take the Effexor just to make sure.The xr works correctly. Other than that there should be no problem with this one.

Hi, Snuks!! No, the Food Interaction Checker does not list grapefruit for venlafaxiine or Effexor [brand] as with a few other antidepressants. The only (obvious) food interaction is with alcohol.
