When should I take Levemir A.M. or P.M?

I Am on a sliding scale of Novolog with meals (carb counting) and 25 units of levemir a day. My doctor had me taking it in the morning at first but it wasn’t working the way it should, I spoke with my doctor and we decided to switch the levemir over to taking it at night before bed with a small snack and my glucose levels have been great since. Been doing this now for almost 4 years. I hope this helps you. Speak with your doctor about it as well.
