I may be fomatidine. If you turn it upside down it actually reads L194.
If anyone is still looking for this answer, 4617 is actually reading the pill upside down. The imprint is L164, and the medication is Famotidine, which is used for GERD, heart burn, reflux, etc. It's an OTC medication that you can get from almost any store that sells antacids and such.
Good call... at the time I was not thinking upside down!lol
Quick correction: The imprint is L194 (my dyslexia got me on typing the correct imprint)!
My guess is that you need to turn the pill over and read L194. It's Famotidine (Pepcid AC), 20 mgs.
I have been searching for a match but have come up empty handed.
2 options:
Call poison control at 1-800-222-1222.
Take the pill to your local pharmacy, perhaps the Pharmacist/Chemist will be able to help you id it.
