Hi, as Laurie has said, the feelings of nausea will eventually improve. Prozac takes around 4 weeks to reach peak effect, and unfortunately you are susceptible to induction side effects until then. Ask your doctor to prescribe you some anti-emetic medication such as Cyclizine for now...
Thanks a lot guys for your comment, I did a direct switch from effexor to fluoxetine, and it's the 5th day, I do feel better on this than the effexor. Effexor made me feel odd, and I didn't like it, but I get alittle nausea and dizzieness, I'm just hoping this will all straighten out soon, I wany t be my old self! Today has been good, just alittle shortness of breathe but I think that's the anxiety, feel free to tell me any other things I need to know thanks alot❤️
Yes, it will if you can just hang in there. As long as you are still eating and drinking fluids the nausea will gradually get better within the first couple weeks and you'll get max effect around a month or so. So unless the nausea gets worse or is preventing you from eating, it is relatively common.
