Ketorolac belongs to the group of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Ketorolac works by reducing the hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
Ketorolac is used for a limited time (5 days or less) for the treatment of moderate to severe pain.
