Preludin used to come in 75, 50 and 25 mg. They are pink and they were dispensed as diet pill.
Are Preludin 75 mg still being manufactured?

It hasn't been manufactured in a while, it was made popular in 1950s & 1960s Germany especially with Dock Workers, musicians and service industry professionals that worked long hours, also the Beatles use them, the closest thing these days is phentermine ( a diet pill in the CNS stimulant category)
As kaismama said "a blast from the past". I must have been remininscing about the past when I put Preludin in Drugs.com search engine. An interesting article about Preludes or Phenmetrazine is found in Wikipedia. I am going to find the book "Rush" to see whether her memories of doing Pink Panthers (Preludes) are similar to mine. Just going by the name of the book, they should be similar... Max
Talk about a blast from the past. Preludin (phenmetrazine) was taken off the market quite a while ago.
