Having been on Xanax for over five yrs. myself, I had always gotten the 2mg white bars till a few months ago. I picked up my script and went home when it was time for my afternoon dose I opened the bottle and they had given me the green bars. I didn't think anything of it just a diff. Manufacturer. To say the least they didn't work for me by day two I was in withdrawal. I called my pharmacist "a close friend" and he told me that he had several complaints about the green an yellow bars and that he would order the white ones and that I could bring my script up there the next afternoon an he would swap them out for me. I learned my lesson and now I make sure I get the right ones every month.
I had gotten the yellow ones and no affect which white ones are you taking
Crystalf53,
That is a 2mg alprazolam bar... it's a generic for xanax. Looks like the pharmacy was trying to save you some money. Hope this helps.
