I used the cream (2 applications 7 days apart) skin dried out and most of it cleared up but I'm still feeling my scalp (which I was told not to use the cream on) is still itching all day/night and my arm & neck are raw/red/bumpy. Still feel like things are crawling on me & have both Itching/burning sensation on areas that doesn't go away. Neck has a watery liquid seeping at times when scratched. Is this an adverse reaction or do I still have scabies???

I just got diagnosed with scabies. My doctor told me that it can take up to a month for the itching to stop after medicine application. Even though the bugs are dead, the debris they leave in your skin causes the itching and because it is deep in your skin, it takes awhile to slough off. My doctor said that after about 3 weeks, if you notice new areas of itching, it may require re-treatment.
