My mom is in a nursing facility for a shattered hip and has been continuously telling our family that the pain never subsides at all. I asked my mom one day to save the pill and confirm from the nurse it is oxycodone. She did and she showed it to me. This pill has nothing on it and it's falling apart. It doesn't look like oxycodone at all. How can I find out for sure what she is getting and who would I contact if it isn't what the nurses are saying it is? Thanks
Does any oxycodone that is given to patients in a nursing facility have no imprints?

If you're in the U.S...
"What if my pill has no imprint code? All prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs in the U.S. are required by the FDA to have an imprint code."
I'm not sure who you might be able to tell about this. Is there a head nurse or a director? Possibly her doctor?
Be sure to save the pill. Someone else here may be able to give you an idea who you could contact.

Thank you for the response. The director of the facility is not responding to my calls at all. I have even tried to get a copy of my mom's medical records for a week and still haven't been able to get them. I am going to take the pill to a pharmacist to see if they can identify what they are giving her. Thanks again
