Tested positive on a court appointed drug test for meth. Did not use meth. I do take a hep-C medication, not Harvoni. I also take Benadryl and aspirin.
Which over the counter drugs can result in a positive for methamphetamine on a drug test?

The name of the Hep-C medication is Ribasphere 200 mg
Added 17 May 2017:Would albuteral alter the results?

There are no over the counter drugs that will cause a false positive for methamphetamine. However there are cases that the DT cup is bad. Meaning it has been exposed to elements air, moisture etc. Or your son actually did some meth and lied to you and the courts about it.
Hi, of the medications you have named, only Benadryl is known to interfere with urine analysis, causing false positives for benzodiazepines, PCP and methadone. An actual list of medications known to cause false or misleading results is fairly extensive (I did discover two of my medications were known to cause false positives). Is it possible you took or ingested something else that has slipped your mind? Also investigate the possibility of a retest using a different technique.
You should not be damned by one test which is known to have flaws in the guise of false positives.
Good luck.
PS. Sorry I can't duplicate lists from or link you to third party sites here. :-(
I did some looking and the Albuterol inhaler has been linked to false positives for (meth)amphetamines. One crew said definitely not and the other three said yes. I suspect you may have a culprit.
