Yes. If it's Levonorgestrel (Plan B).
1 dose can cause increased discharge.
It's not meant to be taken as frequently as twice in the same week.
1 dose is a massive dose of artificial hormone for your body to deal with. It can leave you with any hormonal symptoms that you'd get with a period or pregnancy, for example.
2 doses in the same week (a big overdose) is likely to give you lots more side effects, & they could be intense, such as no bleeding for weeks (sometimes months (even if you get some initial bleeding)), and/or very heavy bleeding etc etc
If you put the name of the drug into the search field of this website, you can see the side effects.
You can still be pregnant despite any symptoms you get, so I'd suggest a pregnancy test in a few weeks, even if you get bleeding. In fact, pregnancy can also increase white discharge.
If you were fertile when you had sex, then Plan B may not be able to help. In that situation you should opt for the other emergency pill called Ella (Ulipristal Acetate), or have an IUD fitted by a doctor within 5 days.
I did take the levonorgestrel! I absolutely regret it because my body is in so much disarray! Additionally I did bleed like a full blown period from the 18th of March till the 26th. Now I am unsure if my April period will come at all?
How many weeks after unprotected sex could I use a home pregnancy test? I am avoiding to wait for my missed period. The last day of my unprotected sex (no ejaculation at all and no precum) was the 15th of March. I have take weekly pregnancy tests and all have come out negative. Thank You. Otherwise I feel fine really. A few cramps in lower pelvic is due to my fibroid.
Thank you for this.
Can you please advise. I last had unprotected sex on the 15th of March. How many weeks do I safely have to wait to take a Preg Test. Every week I do one test and all have been negative. My April period has not come just yet.
Some early response pregnancy tests can give accurate responses from the day your period would have been due, had you not used emergency contraception. Early pregnancy doesn't always show, though. I'd recommend double checking a couple of weeks later, for peace of mind.
A man produces clear pre-cum as soon as he gets hard & excited. It's what makes the tip of his penis moist. You will have been exposed to that if he was aroused. Very unlikely you avoided any at all.
The bleed you had will be from the Plan B, so you can't gauge when you'd have/will ovulated etc. Not for weeks or months, until things are back to normal.
