I have been taking Zolotrin for 7 weeks now. Started from 50mg and within a month I went to 200mg.
Spent 4 weeks on 200mg and I have non stop diarrhea all day.
Does this side effect ever go away?
I also may say that I have been off paroxetine for 3 weeks now.
Thank you,
Non stop diarrhea on Zolotrin 200mg (sertraline/Zoloft)?

Hi, DKNS46!
Although diarrhea is a very common side effect it generally resolves within a couple of weeks at the longest. You've had it way too long.
Did it start when you increased to 200mg? From 50mg to 200mg in a month is an awful fast increase to the maximum recommended dose. Perhaps a decrease might be helpful.
Have you talked to your doctor about this? You need professional advice from them. Meanwhile you could also talk to your pharmacist/chemist about anti-diarrhea remedies that won't interact with the medication.
Be sure to drink plenty of fluids including an electrolyte formulation as you're risking dehydration.
Best regards and I hope this resolves quickly.
Thank you very much for your response WildcatVet! I was about to visit the doctor today but her assistant called to cancel on me, because the doc has COVID!!! How unfortunate am I?
I am tappering from tomorrow to 175mg for start until I find another doctor to visit.
